Delete Your Account
Last updated: May 9, 2026
This page explains how to request deletion of your Lone account and the personal data associated with it. It applies to all Lone apps:
Lone (customer) ·
Lone Driver ·
Lone Vendor
Option 1: Delete from inside the app
You can request account deletion from the app you signed up with:
- Open the Lone app and sign in.
- Open the side menu (drawer).
- Tap Delete Account.
- Confirm the action when prompted.
The app checks for active orders and unresolved balances before accepting the request. Once accepted, you are signed out and the deletion is queued for processing.
Option 2: Request deletion by email
If you can't access the app, you can request account deletion by email:
- Email: support@lonecompany.net
- Subject: Account Deletion Request
- Include: the phone number registered to your account, the app you used (Customer / Driver / Vendor), and your full name.
We will verify your identity (typically by sending a one-time code to your registered phone number or email) and process your request within 30 days.
What data is deleted
When your account is deleted, the following personal data is permanently removed:
- Your profile (name, email, phone number, profile photo).
- Your saved addresses.
- Your push notification token (FCM token).
- Your authentication record (Firebase Auth user).
- For drivers: vehicle details, uploaded verification documents, and live location data.
- For vendors: shop owner profile and uploaded documents.
What data may be retained
Some records are retained after account deletion when we are legally or operationally required to keep them. This data is anonymized or kept under restricted access and is not used to re-identify you.
- Order and transaction history — retained for tax, accounting, and dispute-resolution purposes for the period required by applicable law (typically up to 7 years).
- Earnings and payout records (drivers and vendors) — retained for financial reporting and regulatory compliance.
- Fraud-prevention records — retained where required to prevent abuse or comply with legal obligations.
- Backups — residual copies in encrypted backups are purged on our backup-retention schedule.
Timeline
- Accepted in-app requests are queued for processing; the app signs you out after the request is accepted.
- Email-requested deletions are processed within 30 days of identity verification.
- Backup purges complete on the standard backup-retention cycle.
